At Alpha Designs, we are committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to follow best practices for accessibility and to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA.

How Accessible Is This Website?

This website has been developed with accessibility in mind. It includes:

  • Clear, consistent navigation and heading structure
  • Keyboard-friendly interaction and navigation
  • Responsive design that works on all screen sizes
  • Text and layout that scales up to 300% without loss of content
  • Colour contrasts that meet or exceed WCAG requirements
  • Descriptive alt text on images and functional elements
  • We believe that most, if not all, pages of the site are fully accessible.

How Did We Test The Website?

This website is regularly tested using:

  • Google Lighthouse (Accessibility Audit) — scoring 95-100%
  • W3C HTML and CSS Validators — to check for semantic and structural accuracy
  • Manual checks for navigation and screen reader-friendly markup

Last tested: 26 June 2025

There are no major accessibility issues found. Minor technical messages remain, such as:

  • Contain-intrinsic-size: used for future browser support and does not affect accessibility
  • Trailing slashes on self-closing elements: stylistic only, no impact on screen readers or keyboard users
